My goal is to organize one thing per day, even if it's as small as organizing my wallet. This does not include day to day tidying

I am going to do my best to go vegan for 21 days (and try to take my husband along for the ride!) for a few reasons. The first being health - I believe that if I try to have a vegan diet I will have more energy and generally feel better. I will not be able to just reach for microwave dinners or unhealthy order-out. Throughout this challenge I will learn a lot of meatless recipes that, once the challenge is over, will be able to be made again to add variety to my diet. I will learn more about vegan foods, the health benefits, how to prepare the food, etc. The last reason is, of course, to challenge myself!

I'm calling this goal the "Jamie Oliver Challenge" because I received his book, Meals in Minutes, for Christmas. I do not cook often, or well. Now that we have a baby I would like to start eating healthier and knowing how to cook better, tastier food so that our baby can grow up to enjoy better, tastier food than we currently eat. Jamie Oliver's Meals in Minutes is set up so that you can make a whole meal, with a main, sides and dessert, in about 30 minutes. I'm assuming there is a learning curve and it will take much longer in the beginning. There are 50 "meals" in the book. In an effort to try new foods, as well as new cooking techniques, I will attempt one meal per week in 2013.

In the beginning of 2011 I was doing great working out. I was going to the gym 5 times a week, before work, for the first 12 weeks of the year. I started slowly going less and less until October when I was not going at all. Especially now that I am pregnant I feel that it is important to start working out regularly again and make it a part of my daily life.

At the beginning of 2011 I was doing very well at going to the gym - going 5 times a week for the first 12 weeks. I went less and less often and in October was not going at all anymore. I would like to make exercise an important part of my routine again to get back in shape - which is especially important to me now that I am pregnant.

I would like to spend more time reading, learn, and read different types of books. I would like to spend more time relaxing with a book rather than vegging out in front of the tv or a computer.
